For those that may be looking for something to do this weekend, the Milford Police Department will be hosting the 37th Annual USPCA (US Police Canine Association) Region 7 Police K-9 Certification Trials on Saturday April 14th and Sunday April 15th, 2012. There will be 30-40 K-9 teams from all over the Tri-State area and New England competing in these events. These events will be held in conjunction with the memorial for the 25th anniversary of the Line of Duty death of Milford Police Officer Daniel S. Wasson, who was shot and killed on 4/12/1987. SUNDAY, APRIL 15
8:00am—10:00am CRIMINAL APPREHENSION
10:00am—12:00pm HANDLER PROTECTION
LOCATION: Wasson Field, 75 West Main St, Milford, CT (for the above events)
There will also be a Public Demonstration on Saturday April 14th at 6pm to be held at Joseph Foran High School, 80 Foran Rd, Milford, CT.
I'll be assisting with the events on Saturday morning and I hope to see some of you guys there!

What time will you be down there till? I have to work till 11am but might have time to stop down after i get out.

EJ, I'll be down there sometime between 9-9:30-ish and until about 2pm. I have to be in for work for 3-11pm as the Patrol Sergeant tomorrow night.
