S.B. No. 26 AN ACT CONCERNING THE EXPENDITURES OF THE BOATING ACCOUNT. Sen. John McKinney, 28th Dist., Rep. Lawrence F. Cafero, 142nd Dist. To implement the Governor's budget recommendations. REF: Finance, Revenue and Bonding. OPPOSE. Eliminates the Boating Fund.

Proposed S.B. No. 82 AN ACT REPEALING INCREASES IN HUNTING AND FISHING LICENSE FEES. Sen. John A. Kissel, 7th Dist. To repeal the increase in hunting and fishing license fees that is part of the recently enacted state budget. REF: Environment.

Proposed S.B. No. 115 AN ACT REDUCING THE RECENT INCREASE IN HUNTING AND FISHING LICENSE FEES AND INCREASING CERTAIN MOTOR VEHICLE FEES. SEN. STILLMAN, 20th DIST. To reduce the recent increase in hunting and fishing license fees and offset the reduction in such revenues with an increase in certain motor vehicle fees. REF. ENVIRONMENT. SUPPORT.

Proposed H.B. No. 5080 AN ACT CONCERNING THE INCREASE IN HUNTING AND FISHING LICENSE FEES. Rep. Penny Bacchiochi, 52nd Dist. To reduce the increase in hunting and fishing license fees that was made in the current state budget. REF: Environment. SUPPORT.

SB28 AN ACT CONSOLIDATING STATE AGENCIES AND ELIMINATING CERTAIN LEGISLATIVE COMMISSIONS. Sen. John McKinney, 28th Dist. Rep. Lawrence F. Cafero, 142nd Dist. To implement the Governor's budget recommendations. Calls for the independent Board of Firearms Permit Examiners to be deleted as an agency, and become subservient to the Department of Public Safety. REF: Government Administration and Elections. OPPOSE.

H.B. No. 5158 (RAISED). 'AN ACT CONCERNING THE REGULATION OF FIREARMS. To require gun show promoters to notify the Commissioner of Public Safety of any planned gun show; to mandate annual firearms safety refresher courses for bail enforcement agents, professional bondsmen and surety bail bond agents; to require that certain firearms and criminal justice course instructors be approved by the Commissioner of Public Safety; to provide an exemption to the offenses of selling, carrying or brandishing a facsimile firearm for a participant in a state certified qualified production; to change the blood alcohol limit for the offense of carrying a firearm while intoxicated to achieve parity with the level for the offense of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated; to add a date and place of birth requirement for certain forms regarding firearms permits and purchases, to require notification of a firearm purchase to the Department of Public Safety no later than twenty-four hours after purchase; to prohibit an alien without legal permanent resident status from purchasing a firearm; and add to the offenses of criminal possession of a firearm anyone prohibited by any court order from possessing a firearm. I may now be a outer stater, But i still know a few of them, Sure will be calling them, If there good enough to sit at my table for dinner, then i think they may listen a little... Sure hope so, anyways...
