Not sure how good they are but i see there companies that basically handle all your paperwork and do the full process for you so that you don't screw anything up. Looks pretty cheap to hire them too

Seems like best way to do a FFL for a store is hire a lawyer that will setup the FFL using a LLC as the FFL holder that way the LLC is the FFL holder and whoever is on the LLC is able to use the FFL this way if a person dies the FFL is not gone because whoever else is on the LLC can still handle transactions. Sounds best way to be espeacilly if your older

for an 01, call the feds , get application, send in lots of money, go through interview process. 50 50 chance of not getting approved because most towns in CT won't approve a business license for a home gun shop any more. No refund of the application fees if your denied.

Torrington will not, has to be a business zoned store front to sell, period.
And having an 01 is no promise that you will get the state or city permit.

I just went through this, and all I was thinking of doing was buying an existing gun shop. And call your insurance agent and find out how much that is going to be before you start thinking your going to either save all kinds of money buying wholesale, or making a fortune selling guns.
