I picked up this M1 Garand at an estate sale. Water pipes in the house of some old horder burst and soaked the place. The first inch of the barrel was un-repairable. The stock was completely saturated through and was covered in mold. I got this rifle for $50.


I put the following into it:
$147 Walnut Stock from CMP
$333 New Criterion Match barrel, 4lb trigger job, Zinc Parkerizing of receiver and Barrel from Schuff Parkerizing.
All other metal I parkerized myself.

This is the 200 yard target I shot with it. The furthest shot to the right is my first shot. I went one click left (that's the other two in the white). Then I went two more clicks left (should have gone 3).
