I bought an SR1911 a few months back and have been impressed with the pistol. Except for the addition of grip tape on the front strap (which I was hesitant about but it works and has a good feel to it) it's as it came out of the box. It has functioned through everything I've done with it just as it should.

For the heck of it today I loaded up a few magazines with empty casings and cycled the slide by racking or the slide stop and it fed them with out a glitch.

Nice pistol and a good buy at the price.

I've got as variety of cast bullet profiles, if you want to cycle those through it. It's always good to know what ammo your guns will and will not take.
