I have a single shot topper that I want to play and modify.
Is it legal to chop the regular stock down to pistol grip size?
As long as the barrel is kept over 18" and overall length of shotgun is kept over 26" legal ?
Thanks

Yes you can.

From practical experience, a pistol grip shot gun sucks.

Yes I agree!! A pistol grip on a shotgun sucks monkey but.
This one is not for the range or home defense just a " I'm bored and I need something to do"
I really like messing with these shotguns because they are very inexpensive.

I actually bought a old used one for $40 bucks last month.

I like them for the same reason, they are cheap, built like tanks, light to carry and I don't care if it gets banged up in the woods.

Perfect turkey hunting guns.

Full stocked shotguns are the only way to go.

Pistol grips really, really suck.

Or a semi with a fixed mag capacity of 5 or less.

Ie: A Mossberg 930 w/o a mag tube extension.
