Range Fee: $10.00 per shooter per day
Camping available: Students can pitch tents on the rifle range. Ten RV/Electric hookups are also available at $10 per night. There is a clubhouse with restroom and sink. Please contact the HGC for camping reservations and more information.
Hotels: Many hotels to choose from near Bradley Intl Airport (Windsor Locks, CT) (~2 miles away)
Holiday Inn, Best Western, Candlewood Suites, Crowne Plaza, Staybridge Suites, LaQuinta Inn, Days Inn, Sheraton, Ramada. (avoid Motel 6!)
Directions:
* Take I-91 to Exit 40 (Bradley International Airport).
* Take the 4th exit off the connector onto CT Route 20.
* Turn left at the fifth light onto CT Route 187 (South Main Street).
* Proceed 1.3 miles and turn left onto the club grounds. (Watch for Neon Green Appleseed Signs!)

State Laws to be aware of: CT does have an "Assault Weapon" Ban that is SIGNIFICANTLY MORE STRICT than the expired Federal AWB. For example, rifles are banned by name and include the "Colt AR-15" and "AK-47", among others. Semiautomatic rifles are also banned by features. However, there is no magazine capacity restriction. For the November 19-20, 2011 event - This event will be held on HGC's pistol range and will be limited to 25m and .22lr only. The firing line is not under cover.
