If you had to pick a handgun and a rifle in the same caliber, what would you choose? I'm not thinking WROL, more along the lines of camping/hunting.

Off the top of my head, I would go with a S&W 629 and a Marlin 1894. :)

For camping/hunting, I'd got with the .22LR.

I'd probably use my S&W 617 and my CZ 452. But there's any number of really nice .22's I'd go with.

5, they take a rotary mag just like the 10/22. Very nice shooting rifles!
