Just saw another gun buy back sponsored by the state of California. My question is, can I stand outside of one of these ( and a gun amnesty program) and offer to buy guns from people?
They're only giving around $50-$100 for the guns. What a great bargain!

Well since an idiot in NY decided to publish all the houses where people have permits some people with criminal intentions may try to steal firearms from those addresses in the hope of turning them in for "no questions asked" cash.

Rules for gun buy back program;
1. Steal a firearm
2. Use firearm in a unlawful act
3. Turn in firearm for cash
4. Repet steps 1 thru 3

The first rule should be to call it what it correctly is: a publicly funded (usually) gun purchase & scrap recycling program. It's not a 'buyback;' the State did not have possession of any of these weapons at any time and did not sell them to us commoners. I cringe every time I hear that term used because it's incorrect and plants a seed in the back of a person's mind.
