An AR-15 is just like any other long gun, right? They can be bought and sold without reporting the sale? I heard a guy dispensing expert gun knowledge this afternoon and he was saying that AR second-hand sales are tracked like pistols. I'm having trouble proving it wrong and making myself nervous. Somebody please set me straight.

An AR15 is considered a long gun. Nothing special about it. Can be transferred to the new owner without having to call it in (private sales only).

Problem is, once they start banning stuff, there will be a black market.

Banning drugs has proven to be so effective

And as sad as it is, 12,000 people die from gun shot wounds and its a "tragedy" but 400,000 commmit suicide by food every year and we never hear about it.

This one is a classic. If anyone is unfamiliar with this lady, please do some research on her. She's the grandfather of modern gun control. Total idiot. Seriously, clueless.

Alright, my dumb question time! Does the person you sell to have to have a permit of any kind? I'm not selling, just asking.
