Can't vouch for them, but I know they exist at Post office Square in Clinton:

Apparently they have moved to a private residence location, based on the sign in the window at 10 Post office Square. The old location is empty.

Depending on what part of a firearm you are having engraved, the engraver may need to have an FFL to work on it. One of the very best in New England is here in CT. She's not cheap, but she has a reputation for quality work, she''s insured, and she has an FFL. I've seen her work on shotguns at Orvis that cost as much as my truck. http://engravingbynoelle.com/

Just an FYI, it appears Engrave Your Gift is in fact in violation of Federal Law. He is actively advertising that he works on gun on his website, and I can find no listing for an FFL under his name or his company. According to the ATF:

A license is needed to engrave, customize, refinish, or repair a firearm.

A person conducting such activities as a business is considered to be a gunsmith within the definition of a dealer. [27 CFR 178.11]

To get a license, submit ATF Form 7, Application for License, with the appropriate fee in accordance with the instructions on the form. These forms may be obtained from the Firearms and Explosives Licensing Center in Atlanta, Georgia, (404) 417-2750, or your local ATF office. [18 U.S.C. 923, 27 CFR 178.44]Type 01 - DEALER in firearms other than destructive devices. (includes: rifles, shotguns, pistols, revolvers, gunsmith activities, and National Firearms Act (NFA) weapons.) 18 U.S.C 923(a)(3)(B)
