I dropped off my "assault weapon" cert papers last week....they said the wait was 2-3 months for processing. ...makes me wonder whether the State will extend the Jan 1st deadline for other people since the forms weren't made avail until just a few months ago??

Also - since they probably arent going to review mine until after the current deadline expires - what will I do if they lose my paperwork? They dont give you any kind of receipt, etc....so how can you prove you submitted the paperwork on time if they mess something up on their end?

I intend to drop them off in person. You have to sign the book on entry and I will add to drop off awb paperwork.

Heard someone was also making additional notarized copies for their personal records.

I might photocopy a bunch of mine but I am not registering any prebans rifles. Any that I have to register I am doing so under my trust.
The pistols will go under my name.

What's next? Turn them in?

Registration is the first step to confiscation.

What sucks is that once you send all this shit in they will always know.

Are Semi auto pistols with more than 10 rounds are considered assault weapons ?
According to document :
Semiautomatic pistol with a fixed magazine that has the ability to accept more than 10 rounds
That doesn't say anything about detachable magazine size. Does that makes my Ruger p95 assault weapon?
