Loading 38 speacil Berry plated bullets

Postby newguy » Sun Jun 30, 2013 8:41 am

Trying to help my brother inlaw out loading his 38 speacil. He has 125gr FN plated berry bullets they seem to seat correctly cases have no waves. But some of the bullets get stuck in seating die. Some of the rounds are also very tight in cylinder any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks

And I mean use a micrometer, not a caliper...
...unless you can decipher 0.001" increments with yours.

Thanks for the help guys. I just had to have him flare the case just abit more. They seated fine and fit perfect in the cylinder.
