To all those AR builders out there I would like to get some suggestions for a red dot for my M&P 15 Sport. Definitely want to co-witness, 1x or with some magnification, not sure which way I want to go yet.

My budget is not going to allow something like an aim point. I just want to get some suggestions in the $150 to $300 range from the experienced AR builders out there to start looking into.

Check out the Bushnel TRS-25 with a .83" riser or the Primary arms micro dot with riser. If your looking for something with more magnification check out the Vortex strikefire, comes with a 3x magnifier you can screw on/off.

I briefly had a Primary Arms micro-dot (traded to mr. hayes), it was a wonderful little red dot.

Just picked up a Vortex strikefire red/green dot and love it. Another to check out is Primary Arms.
