Looking for a good and preferably inexpensive muzzle brake that actually works! I get way to much muzzle rise while rapid firing my Mini-14.
Anyone have any good experiences with certain muzzle brakes over others? The factory Ruger flash hider isn't cutting it.

Thanks!

Yes it is the newer version Mini-14 and has a 1/2x28 thread pitch on it. :D

Thanks for the suggestion, Dave!

I have been using one for about 2 years on a AR in 3 Gun/action rifle. While there are better comps it works well. You should "clock" the comp depending on how grip the rifle and left/right handed shooter; normally 1:00 for right and 11:00 for left handed.

An article on comps: http://www.multigunmedia.com/ar15-comps-pt-2.pdf
