Hello all!

I'm a recent member of the Hartford Gun Club in East Granby where they've got a decent 200 yard rifle range.

But.... I've caught the long-range rifle bug.

Any longer ranges that you guys know of?

What are the laws regarding shooting on CT state or other public land way up in the middle of nowhere (i.e. NW CT and miles from any house)??

Thanks

You mean NWCSA in Colebrook?
NW Connecticut Rod & Gun in Canaan has only about 200 yards as of a few weeks ago.

NWCSA website says 250yds
But might be widening and lenghtning?

Besides, how does one become a member there and how much?

Highrock is one I've been trying to get to but weather is crappy everytime.
Only 100 yards but I'll 10 feet just to get a chance to try my 91/30
