You can probably get those...or at least watch one...down at that KY machine gun venue.
There used to be a slew of the Arisaka rifles up at Jolly Roger in New Milford. I doubt they're $109 still.

I was just down at Hansen's and verified a model 99 Jap on the discount rack. It appeared to be sporterized, it had a recoil pad on the stock at least, and I noticed one of the front sight ears was broken off...$110
