Anything to do with rifle shooting, plinking, target, benchrest etc

Spent a few hours at the range today with a buddy of mine, good time to catch up, shot some pistol, he had his duty G22 and I took the M&P9. Steel plate shooting at 15 yds..shaking some rust off. Next we go to the 100yd rifle range. Set up small paper targets at 50yds. I'm not a rifle expert, but that Socom was impressive! Used a bench rest at first, then just went to a seated elbow supported postition, iron sights. Nice trigger, sights were crisp and not a ton of felt recoil :) Pricey rifle, but impressed to say the least.
