Henry 357 Lever Gun feeding problems

I have a 38 / 357 Henry Big Boy lever gun and it mis-feeds.
When it tries to lift a new round up to the chamber it cant because the next round in line has traveled too far past the carrier and jams up.
How can the next round be held back?
I suspect the carrier is the problem.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Did you try a stick? Ask my former friend Tony (he does not like me any more)

If it's merely an issue with cartridge overall length (as suggested on the other forum), bring that Henry down here and try the assortment of .38 Special/.357 Magnum bullet profiles I have available. 95gr to 200 gr.
One of my favorites is the NEI #358158 (#145B), which seems to be what my mold is...

The carrier holds back the next round until the fresh one is lifted unless it's screwed up somehow.

I could probably fix it if I could see it.

Being that it's a brand new gun I sent it to Henry on thier nickel.
Let them deal with it.

Any negative comments will be deleted ( at least in Tony's threads )

Just got the rifle back from Henry.
They replaced the carrier and now it feeds fine.

However there is a small dent in the left side of the stock and nicks, scratches on the left side of the front forend strap.
WTF !??
