Bought one on Saturday from NGX. It just jumped off the shelf at me; I wasn't even looking for anything close to it. Seems like it will fit the empty place in the safe pretty well. :)

I also found an adapter so I can use it with my TiRANT. 8)

Anyone have experience with the Mark II series?

Love mine, the Remington subsonic really makes mine a tack driver.
I found piller bedding the action and making sure the
Barrel is free floating helped a little too.

Scope and rings on the way; I can't wait to sight this in.

For the life of me I can't understand how Savage came up with their naming system. Its hard to remember what model it is because of the seemingly meaningless string of letters.

I had intended on sighting this in a while ago, but haven't had the opportunity. I finally brought the Savage to High Rock this past weekend and sighted it in along with the annual slug gun check. The Savage was a bit easier on the shoulder.

I was very pleased with the way it handled; the trigger was great, and the action was smooth.

It shot good groups with bulk pack ammo, but at some point I want to figure out what ammo it likes best.

This setup will definately be used at some point for "limb chickens". :P
