Can anyone recommend a local gunsmith who would do a good job on a Ruger Mark II pistol trigger? I've put in a Volquartsen sear and Clark hammer bushing and pin, but I've got too much creep. I'm thinking about sending it to Clark, but the shipping is pretty steep.

i put a marvel precision adjustable trigger in mine..its about $30 for the thing, you can adjust take up and over travel with 2 allen screws and also the position of the trigger, on the mk 1/2/3 rugers because of the way the trigger resets your always gonna have a little creep..it kind of over travels past the sear engament and then sets back each time the disconnector resets, i got mine down to a smooth 2lb with the trigger the vq sear and a little light polishing of the hammer with a brass block, remington bore cleaner and about 1 hour of time

You could give Randy at CPC a call 1-860-343-0552. He specialises in trigger jobs on the Ruger 10/22 and might be able to do these.
