While i been waiting on my pistol permit to get thru my town i been doing some research looking for a affordable 9mm. I was looking at the XD9 but price is alittle steep for my liking so I am pondering on S&W SD-9 wondered if anyone ever had one or shot one and what they think about this pistol as a first pistol for someone for target shooting.

Is the SD9 a mid point between the SW (Sigma) and M&P series?

I happen to really like the new SD line...they are very underrated.
Newguy, If you like the feel and trigger of the SD then I'm sure you won't regret the purchase of one.

Yes it the model between Sigma and MP and yes i am gonna try out trigger feel see how it is. I really wanted a XD9 but the SD9 S&W is like 100 dollars cheaper and well with my budget seems like best deal
