Hello,
I had a Springfield Armory 1911A1 turned into a Bullseye Wadgun about two years ago by a local gunsmith. It never functioned or shot right. After the third time back I discovered a gentlemen in Granby that builds Wadcutter guns in his home shop. I brought him the gun. He diagnosed the gun in my presence and explained barrel fit and other nuances of accurizing a 1911. Then he range tested the gun and made the modifications that I authorized him to make. He range tested again to verify function and accuracy, then contacted me. Within a week I had a 2.25" gun ready to go. The operation is R&D Machine Works in Granby CT. Contact me if you need the phone number. I highly recommend this individual if you need 1911 work in CT.
