Just a quick something I made up to share with everyone that can be printed out and stuffed into a bug out bag.

Enjoy everyone!

Just a little somthing that inspired me from a video a friend sent. So I made this up through Ms. Paint.

Just a suggestion, place a coffee filter under the sand and other fine media (charcoal, assuming you crush it) that would otherwise flow into and disperse into larger media (rocks). Unless you keep fine media together, like sand, the water will channel through it vice be filtered. Also, a few coffee filters are a good addition to a BOB. If you don't have a coffee filter, any cloth will work.

Boil after filtering. Distilling is even better. Note however that filtering, boiling and even distilling won't remove some contaminants, like oil.
