If you really want a treat, go down to Bluff Point in Groton. It would be best in summertime since it's one of CT hidden treasure beach areas. There are several stone foundations where mansions, at least some stately homes, sat before the '38 hurricane destroyed them.

I think American Pickers like a little more metal on the objects but it is worth checking out. Sometimes those guys pick up the oddest things.

Both are great detectors. Definitely recommend the pin pointer. Makes it so much easier when you're down digging to use the pointer than to rescan the hole when you're on the ground.
