Pistol permit help

Postby Clawed » Tue Sep 11, 2012 8:59 pm

At the police station gave me said:
"this department may request a copy of the instructor's certification cards.
What is a certification card? The instructor only gave me a certificate for passing the class.

Thanks for the lack of help.

Would you like a reacharound with the answer too? It's the middle of the week, and most of us are working. For fux sake, the info you requested is not only posted on the DESPP site, but on flyers in EVERY SINGLE PD's LOBBY.

Instead of insulting us, try peeling your sorry ass off the couch for more than a trip to the fridge, genius.

So let them. They would request it from the instructor. It is fairly common for PDs to contact instructors and verify their status and make sure the person took the class. Nothing for you to be concerned about.
