Timeframe for permit

Postby Samppson » Tue Dec 29, 2015 8:59 pm

Hey,

I am taking my NRA course Jan. 10th. If I submit my paperwork, prints etc fairly quickly, how long does the process take to get the actual permit usually?

Oh, I live in Killingly if that makes a difference

Thanks!

It has been quite awhile since I put in for my permit so I do not know what the current lag time is. That said, in 2008 it took 8 weeks. Some of the delay was due to finger print rejection. They claimed they were not clear enough. I got a call from the local PD and went in to be reprinted. He compared the rejected prints to the new ones and they looked virtually the same and were eventually accepted. That was the classic ink prints. I think the town now has the digital print machine which is supposed to be better.

With the Libtards in full retard here it is anyone's guess how long it will take. I am sure if someone from your area has jumped through the hoops recently they will chime in.

Good luck, hope it comes through sooner rather than later.
