My school baseball fields are way back of the school. There are alot of big birds that goes there and poop. Is it illegal to hunt there on days with no student around?

Please search this website ( http://www.ct.gov/deep/site/default.asp ) or contact them directly. Legal questions on a forum should only be taken for what you paid for them. Nothing...
Or contact an attorney.

Where and what you can hunt are clearly listed in the CT hunting guide.

Proximity to a school has absolutely nothing to do with whether a property is huntable or not. it's a building like any other and the same restrictions apply. If it's State land listed in the guide, go for it. If it's private then you'll need the landowner's permission.
