I just sent off my C&R application and I've got a few questions for you guys that have them.
What's the average shipping cost from these website gun stores?
How exactly are they shipped? UPS signature required I assume?
What are the better companies to buy from?

I bought my Yugo SKS from Samco Global Arms Inc the postage was $26.00 and sent to me via UPS with signature required. I bought my Nagant revolver from Classic Arms. Postage was $16.00 for priority mail, no signature required. So far so good!

I got a call from the police chief today telling me my application was approved and I could pick it up at dispatch. I assume he was mistaken about his involvement? I didn't argue. Just said thank you and went down and picked it up after work. (the PD copy I sent in, signed by chief) I wasn't supposed to do the local PD first and send it to the ATF, right? It didn't say that on the instructions.
