Decent Sale of 38 ammo at Hoffman's

Postby holepuncher » Tue Feb 19, 2013 7:58 am

I was in Hoffman's yesterday and they are selling non-reloadable 38 range ammo at $16.99, limit five 50-round boxes. Don't all go clean them out before I can get back for more...

Whoa! I must have missed it... Thanks. I'll look for it next time I am up there from Danbury.

Really... the brass is worth almost $1.50 to most reloaders. That helps offset some of the cost, too.

Sweet! Shooting out of a revolver, it's a snap to save the brass - no sweeping off the floor. Thanks. I'll keep that in mind.

Least revolver ammo doesn't get sand on it from hitting the ground

Yes, the OP said that, but the responder said brass cased ammo, too.

Man, this is pretty good news! Maybe this is the start of a return to sanity.

Concentrate on acquiring some reloading gear. As things settle down and components become available, load your own.
