I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this.
Are there any places that shoot plates on Saturdays.

Mattabassett (Berlin) usually does. They have cut back their public schedule, but I believe they are doing 2nd and 4th Saturday shoots. They do centerfire pistol & revolver, rimfire rifle and handgun, and pistol-caliber carbine on plates and cf rifle on pins, as a rule.

Their website is still under construction, so I e-mailed a member to try to get clarification...please stay tuned.
If Friday evenings can work, try New Haven Sportsmans Club (rimfire and centerfire) or Silver City in Meriden (rimfire only).

Ok....so tomorrow night(Fri 27th) is rimfire pistol at Silver City...I have a new 22A that is just begging to do plates
What do you say about getting some CT Shooting people together for this one??
I haven't been to plates since Dec....I'm making out to this one.

I stayed and got some good practice in for about an hour.....which was the most shooting I've done in months, It was me and Carl, I had a whole side to myself.

Harwinton starts April 19th with an action pistol match (75rds-centerfire). The details and directions are on their website. Basically, they're 20 minutes north of Waterbury, exit 41 on Rt 8.
