The Meriden Rod and Gun Club will be open to the public for the annual October Fall Cast and Blast event that will be held on Sunday October 23, 2011. Start time 9:00am .Tickets will be sold, $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 12 and under.
Your Donation will provide you with access to the club's archery, pistol and trap range and a well stocked trout pond (2 fish limit) your ticket will also entitle you to eat all you want throughout the day, beverages not provided (BYOB) and on top of this we will hold a raffle that features all kinds sporting goods that will be held at the end of the day's event.
We are open to the public and we encourage all to come and have a fun day out with the family and friends. We look forward to seeing you there. You can also access us on the web at www.meridenrodandgunclub.com for upcoming events and information, all inquiries are welcome.

Do they have any ammo size restriction on there rifle and pistol range

Geez! I don't know.
I'd say call and ask to be certain. I've never seen any .50 BMG,s there, but I just don't know the exact range rules regarding calibers. There are a few Meriden members on this forum, perhaps they will chime in with particulars.

i dont think 50 is allowed, anything else is ok just no rapid fire, cast and blast is a great day out, im looking forward to it !

I'll be there, always an awesome time. I might concentrate on fishing, and beer this time :lol: Maybe a few rounds of trap before the beer!

I think i may go hate going places alone my brother inlaw won't be in town that weekend so think i may fly solo and come need to get some time in with my new sks and fishing sounds good since i really been batting zero this year when it comes to fishing for trout and 10 bucks isn't bad at all

or
Sunday the 23?
The announcement has an incorrect date posted (usually it is on a Saturday, correct?)

Thanks Sunday gonna be kinda tough for me but i guess i can squeeze it in plus the silver city that not so silver anymore not very far for me and 10 bucks is a steal
