I just went on the CMP site to check out the price of some 22 ammo.

THEY DON'T HAVE ANY !!

The only ammo they show on the E-Store is for bb guns !!

Darn, hayes1966...
...some months back (just about the time the ammo price increase craze was in full swing), Hansen's had a vacuum-packed case (I'd guess it was 5000 rounds) of Winchester standard velocity 22LR on the floor. It sat there neglected for the longest time. I finally figured it was a bargain for the $149 or whatever it was...I went in and inquired and they promptly adjusted the price up to $239 or more! Even at that price it wasn't too bad...but, alas, it is gone now.

Personally, I think they've gotten a bit out front on ammo prices and I rarely find any bargains there like I used to.

I have some 30-06 that I bought before the price went crazy .. probably more than I need but it works real well in the Garand I have.

I was going to get some 22 ammo for plinking, can't seem to find any at WM. I will see what sort of prices are at the Durham show. I have a few round to keep me busy for a while
