Advanced Firearms Training Class

Taught By Master Instructor Gary J. Belanger
The original certified IPDS Instructor for the East Coast

This course is derived from the Law Enforcement CAR course. It is designed for you, the civilian, to raise your awareness of just what is your responsibility when you carry a handgun and what you need to know to survive a gunfight!

You have the right to defend yourself and the responsibility to protect your family! Are you properly prepared to do so? To do so you need to fully understand how fast things can go south. Everything is broken down into 1/2 seconds increments, speed is critical, if it happens it will happen fast; can you act with the speed of 3,4,5,6 short in less than 1 second? You need to be able to dominate. Simply skills and Gun Fighting skills are two different worlds, learn that!

Designed To Focus On
- Why are you carrying?
- Should you, and are you ready to carry?
- How well do you know your handgun? In the dark?
- How well do you know your home? In the dark?
- Weapon Retention
- Weapon Placement
- Up close, in your face contact
- Night sights, do you really need them?
- Shooting with virtually no felt recoil
- Can you really pull the trigger?
- Do you have what it takes to fight for your life?
