I heard that there is an indoor range in Torrington. It's a bit of a ride for me but I will not go back to Hoffman's.
Does anyone know anything about this range?

JohnFH is from up that way and can help you. I only know it's in the old Timex building on Migeon Avenue.

There are indoor facilities at Wolf's (Bristol), Chris' (Guilford) and Bridgeport, too.

If you shoot a 9mm, I guess you'll just have to get some of the Swedish m39 Indoor ammo and set up your basement shooting range.

It has heating in the winter and ac in the summer.
It allows class III weapons and I go there about once a month.
It costs ~$27 hour with a target or two.
Never had any issues there but tend to go during the week when it its quieter.
Store prices on guns/ammo on the high side IMHO.

I have also been there and echo what hayes has said. I have not had any issues there.
