How much experience with a bow does someone need to take the class? Is it like the firearms hunting class where safety is the main focus, or do you have to demonstrate some level of proficiency with a bow to get the safety certification?

You need to be able to draw the bow safely and hit a target at 25yds, but when I did my class there was people missing that target, arrows falling of the rest etc. No one failed. Like the hunter safety course it was more theory.

Alright, good to know that you don't have to be Robin Hood to pass. I haven't used bows a whole lot, but I do have a little experience. I would like to take a bowhunting safety course sometime in the near future; it opens up alot of different options when you live in the suburbs. Thanks again. :)
