Legality of rifle before registration

Postby WhatConstitution » Mon Apr 08, 2013 7:54 pm

Is it legal for me to travel with my March-legal rifle to the range or can I not do that until I have registered it?

Who would be the best legal authority to ask? State troopers?

Never ask the police legal advice.

Nothing HAS to be registered until Jan 1 2014, at this time they can't even figure out how they are even going to do it.

Until then, transport as always, locked in the trunk unloaded, empty mags and don't give anyone a reason to notice you.

Great, thanks for the reply. I figured as much given that no method exists yet to register but it wouldn't be the most absurd thing this government has done.
