Firearm law enforcement in CT

Postby hayes1966 » Mon Jan 07, 2013 8:54 pm

Letter to all members both state and local,

cut and paste this and send it out

Senator,

From 2001-2007 there were 161 persons arrested for possession of a firearm or deadly weapon on a school ground. Of those 161 cases 133 were not prosecuted for whatever reason.

I ask you what good will come of passing more restrictive firearm laws which only law abiding citizens obey. The criminals certainly don’t and they get away with it.

Before we add any more laws why not enforce the ones we currently have. I urge you to ask the attorney general as to why this is the happening. I would also like to see the figures for the past five years but I believe they will show the same picture.

Sincerely

John Hayes
