I get a kick out of how the story calls Schimel a 'former businessman.' I guess she's now a full-time politician blowhard lackey. I sent her an e-mail asking for some clarifications to her comments; I'll be surprised to receive a response that isn't completely full of mistruths and convoluted logic.

Discussed this issue with a friend, who said it was next to impossible to do. Figured out an way to do it economically in a robust fashion. Now I'm caught between potentially getting rich licensing it to manufacturers if this stupid law goes through, and the possibility that this law might go through easier if there was a cheap and secure way of doing it made available.
