I just dont understand. I dont understand why our government is trying to take away our gun rights as good guys. Our rights get taken away from carrying a pistol or owning them while the bad guys on the streets still have the guns. I dont understand our governments thinking or reasoning. Its really stupid. Why should us good guys get our rights taken away for protecting ourselves and our familes while the bad guys on the streets still keep the guns. I wish our government would look at it that way!

Simple
government is trying to take away our gun rights as good guys.
government IS the bad guys.

same reason for the farm bill, it has nothing to do with the people, it has everything to do with the gov FORCING further control over the population. Control the food control the people.

chriss dodd rapes the state and country, gets special treatment and big financial favors, gets CAUGHT, and still gets a big ole pat on the back and a big fat retirment package and health care for the rest of his life we could only dream about. What he gets in 1 year I could retire on.

Look at how many members of the house and senate are millioniares. Oh and while they are happily shipping our jobs overseas, they had no problem getting there pay raises, exempted from the fed pay freeze by the way.

The thinking and reasoning, if we really get pissed think 1773-1775, they lose there "special" status and probably end up getting tried for crimes against the people. They are afraid of the good guys.

I think the answer is simple : Disarm the population and eliminate the fear of the people. The government can then do as they please without worry that we the people will less than peacefully object to the conversion from a free country to a Socialist/Communist country. JMHO

Yah. Its crazy! Its scary sometimes! All the criminals will get their iilegal guns to keep and us good guys wont have ours to protect ourselves and our familes. The goverment are really the bad guys. Pretty soon our own police officers will be stripped of their guns too!

Only if they don't agree to go along with the "program".

History is always doomed to repeat itself if we don't learn from the past, read up on hitler just prior to WWII.

I remember hearing something during the campaign a few months back out of Nevada. In that race there, the Republican challenger to Reid (who's name escapes me right now) who said that if things got worse, the people had the right to revolt. The Libs had a field day with this, labeling her and extremist ,etc. All I could think of was what Thomas Jefferson after Shay's Rebellion:

"God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion.
The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is
wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts
they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions,
it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ...
And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not
warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of
resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as
to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost
in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from
time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It is its natural manure."

My how far we've come.....

Yes, indeed. TJ had much wisdom. Unfortunately, we are being driven to do something and that something is getting closer everyday. I am sure those who really love this country, our freedom, the Constitution and rule of law will continue to be demonized by the Socialist/Marxist left.
