It came with two choke tubes, although I haven't taken them out yet. I don't have a manual, but I found a schematic for it. I'm trying to find a cocking piece, cocking plunger and cocking piece screw. Do you know of any sources for parts?

No, but you can try these web sites though:

Numerick : http://www.gunpartscorp.com/
Savage : http://www.savagearms.com/

I hope to get a letter off to Savage this week for some info.

Based on the proof marks on the barrel, this shotgun was manufactured in the Gardone area of northern Italy. This area is home to Beretta and several smaller firearms manufacturers. I'm trying to figure out who manufactured this shotgun in the hope of finding the missing parts I mentioned earlier. I will share with you what I learn.

Are you looking for any specific parts or just information?

That is interesting, any chance the barrels are not original to the shotgun?

The top tube has "Savage 312....Westfield, MA...." on it so they must be the original barrels.

Also, "MADE IN ITALY" appears on the top of the block as well as on the bottom tube.
