Left: Yugo M48 Mauser 8mm - #s Matching

Right: Yugo SKS 59/66A1 - #s Matching

I restored the stock on the SKS. It had an ugly, thick shellac. Unlike anything I ever saw on a Yugo.

The results on top are after 3 hours of stripping the rifle (and my dermis) with 000/0000 steel wool and denatured alcohol; and applying 4 coats of boiled linseed oil.

I am currently trying to source accurate slings for both of these. Anyone got ones laying around?
