I'f I found another cheap one I would snatch it up too. You can NEVER have too many 10/22s. This one was a hell of a deal. The original owner won it in a raffle, then added the scope+mount and 2 extra magazines. Shot it enough to dial in the scope and hadnt used it since. I basically paid him what he actually spent on the gun.
I had actually started collecting parts for this build like 2yrs ago, but then I started shooting the monthly .22 silhouette matches at my club and ended up going that route with my last 10/22 instead. Had my eye out for another 10/22 since.

:D I also have to admit that the Ruger 10/22 is a real fun gun and can be customized in so many ways. I am a member of Silver City Gun Club, which is a .22 club, and hold regular Friday night .22 plate matches with pistol, revolver only and rifle.

Here are a few of the 10/22 builds that I presently have, not counting the several others that I have build and passed on to other shooters. All have been worked on from Randy from CPC (Connecticut Precision Chambering) in Middletown, who is a Ruger expert gunsmith on the 10/22. All have jeweled bolts, his bolt and trigger work. It is not the same gun when you get it back.
Some are with tactical Solutions alluminum barrels and carbon fiber barrels, to name a few. Some were built for speed in plate shooting and some for distance shooting.
