Another old timer in my collection. When I first bought it I had trouble keeping the scope on it. Then Ruger released a revised version with notched in the rib for scope bases to lock in to. I sent the gun off to Ruger for a new barrel. Gun was returned damage. looked like they put the top strap in a vise. I was sick. Ruger claimed they got the gun that way. This was my last Ruger product until last year when I forgave them for this and not being anti assault weapon.

my buddy welded up this swinging target. It was interesting to see what different calibers did to the steel. 45's did nothing. 308 went through. The 44 mag frigin twisted and deformed for the most impressive effect.

i honestly dont enjoy shooting more than a few rounds. It's punishing. May try different grips at some point.
