Well this site has cost me a fortune

The first day I joined I found a post that mention an attorney in Derby, Mark Zeck who would set up a revocable trust. Living in New Haven I found this to be unbelievable good luck to have an attorney 10 minutes from home. Mark was great. The trust is so much more than about buying hardware it's also about protecting your assets. Anyhow after meeting with Mark on July 16 I came home and ordered three suppressors from Major Malfunction. I ordered an AAC TI-Rant 45, AAC 762-SDN-6 and a Silencerco Sparrow. Had them shipped to JoJo's in Southington. Last Friday the suppressors arrived at JoJo's. I took a real long lunch today and headed to JoJo's to fill out the paperwork and pay for the transfers. Before walking out and in a moment of weakness I ordered and AAC M4 2000.

So if anyone shopping at Amity Stop & Shop should notice a fat middle aged man wearing a Rainier Arms cap loading up his shopping carriage with Ramen noodles and pasta that would be me.

If I may ask - What does it cost to set up the trust?

Well the AAC M4 2000 is in at JoJo's. I need to get up there this week to get the paperwork completed and the long wait initiated.

God give me the strength not to start any sentence with the following two words "How much"

There's also another issue on the horizon. The first Friday in October Im heading to Cornwall for some smallmouth bass fishing on the Housatonic.
Gary at Silencerco informs me that there's a Sillencerco stocking dealer in Torrington called Tactical Arms. Im thinking I might stop by. There's a voice in my head that keeps whispering "Osprey".

:help:

Today is the 6 month mark for three of the suppressors and still no word from the men in black suits.

Don't know if you've noticed, but they've been a little busy trying to not get their boss fired for stupidity a.k.a. Fast & Furious.

On a more serious note, you'll get them. 6 months is just a earmark. Might be a little less. Might be a little more.

Well the feds returned my applications stating that the name on the trust must match EXACTLY the name on the applications. To my eyes they look the same. The only difference I see is the trust also includes "Also known as" an abreviation of the trust name. Guess I need to call the attorney tomorrow.

Same thing happened to my buddy,MC. After a few phone calls to the ATF and the gun store. It was worked out. The ATF lady said she made a mistake. He sent his paperwork back and it was approved a couple weeks later. I'm waiting on my suppressor, and hopefully I dont get mine back for the same reason. We both have trusts. He specifically asked ATF lady if this would be an on going issue. She said no, just a mistake that has been corrected. Good luck.
