For those people that asked me about suppressors, here is a list of companies that make them:

Yankee Hill (very good pricing) http://yankeehillmachine.com/store/sound.html

AWC:
http://www.awcsystech.com/

AAC
http://www.advanced-armament.com/

SWR Mfg
http://www.swrmfg.com/

Gemtech
http://www.gem-tech.com/

There are also several other companies making them, but the above seem to be the most popular.

That is a hard question to answer. Some are application specific. Some are rated for full auto use while others cannot take the sustained fire of full auto. Some are best used with bolt guns, etc. If you have a specific gun/application it would be easier to answer.

Some of the mfg's do demos and this is a great way to learn about their suppressors. Yankee Hill did one at Metacon a few months back and it was a lot of fun. Sometimes the DB levels are the same for mfg's but the sound signature is different. Hard thing to explain, but easier to hear when you have a few suppressors to try at hand.

Some use different materials to achieve the same thing hence a difference in price.
