Proximity to a school has absolutely nothing to do with whether a property is huntable or not. it's a building like any other and the same restrictions apply. If it's State land listed in the guide, go for it. If it's private then you'll need the landowner's permission.

I was at Jojo's this afternoon and heard some terrible news. They were told by both Stag and Colt today that they would not be shipping them any firearms or magazines after March 13. No explanation was given. They obviously have some insider information and are making business decisions based on it....

Definitely not required, I didn't see one person asked for it. There are several large signs listing the requirements for new permits, and different signs for renewals. It says plain as day on every renewal sign that it's required. Even Government employees I'd hope would catch that.

Passport at DPS

 by AGust82 ¦  Thu Feb 21, 2013 4:04 pm ¦  Forum: Legislation ¦  Topic: Passport at DPS ¦  Replies: 5 ¦  Views: 1885

I was in Middletown today to renew my permit and found it confusing to say the least. The letter you get in the mail says nothing about a passport being necessary, but when you are waiting in line the many signs in your face say you need your old permit, DL, and passport, along with the letter. Very...

He's instructed his wife to blindly fire a shotgun into the darkness to ward off would-be home invaders. I'm not sure what to think about this one.

Anybody knowledgable with car stereos?

I was just delivered my new work van, a Chevy express with the worst radio imaginable. AM/FM only. A CD player would be nice but not necessary, mostly I just want to add an aux port for plugging in an Ipod. What's my best option? I've been lucky enough to drive decent vehicles for a while now but I ...

It's nice we can have these debates but let's face facts. Our opinions don't matter anyway. We live in one of the bluest states around and any gun control law that skirts the Constitution will get passed with very little opposition. We can write our Reps and Senators until our fingers bleed. Enjoy y...

I understand why you might want that but then how would the site grow? No more new members? Another site I use has a entrance questionnaire. If you don't answer correctly you can't get on. If the questions are right it should keep out non-gun people.

It sounds like an add-on charge for felons found to be in possession of ammo upon arrest, not a background check at Wal Mart. I actually wouldn't mind having to flash a permit or hunting license when purchasing ammo. That proves you're not a felon. Both are revoked upon felony arrest. As easy and pa...

how to make a handgun disappear (legally)

To make a long story short, I possess a pistol that is completely ruined. I'd like to destroy it. I'm not interested in simply rendering it unfireable, and definitely not interested in handing it over to law enforcement for "proper disposal". Is there a way to remove it from legal existenc...
