@Steig : I contacted DPS office asking about Saiga IZ 132 in 7.62x39 and I won't keep on repeating it but I've email from officer saying it's legal in it's original configuration. Madsmith has seen it so it takes the fear of AK action in 7.62x39 out. Secondly, I've nothing to hide so I don't give a ...

While watching this ad. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/ak-47-bullpup-stock.aspx?a=650805 or http://www.k-var.com/shop/images/AKU-94.jpg for AK 47, I was wondering if this stock will fit Saiga IZ132 (Yes, Unconverted Saiga 7.62x39 is legal in CT ) ? What are the legal complications ? Specially...

7.62x25 Chamber Insert for 7.62x54

I bought this from sportsman's guide as an experiment for my Mosin Nagant. It works flawless but when cartridge with the chamber is ejected, it's really very difficult to take out 7.62x25 cartridge out of chamber. It's like 10 seconds in shooting and 10 minutes in replacing the cartridge. On positiv...

Freedom Shoppe has VZs for $650 out the door. It would be great if the Saiga 7.62x39 is declared CT legal. Any chance of getting that on black and white signed hardcopy? If you send me your email, I can forward you the email sent by the officer. When you have SMTP server address in the email header...

To all those keyboard commandos who said Saiga in 7.62x39 is illegal, I contacted DPS office to find out and eventually detective wrote me back. This is what email says "CT Gen Statute 53-202n is a three prong test, physical appearance, functionality and interchangeable parts. In checking both ...

And unavailable in CT market too Where are you getting your information from!? With four posts and asking the questions you ask, makes me wonder what you are doing and who you are. Exactly what I was thinking! Wherever I checked, VZ 58 is gone. I missed the Wallingford show though, but all sh...

Gotta love that you can have a sks though uses same rounds lol And the VZ58/2008 Looks like an AK to the uninitiated, shoots better than the AK, stronger with the full milled receiver, is actually lighter, with better ergonomics, nicer safety, last round bolt hold open, 30rd mags, and shoots the sa...

Is Saiga 7.62x39 legal in CT?

Some of the dealers are telling me that it's illegal to have Saiga 7.62x39 but one of the dealer was telling me that it's perfectly legal as parts are not interchangeable. Does anyone on the forum knows this for sure?

Thanks in advance
