If you mean a gunshop in Torrington the only one in town that I know of is Tactical Arms. Thats a black gun shop. I have stopped in there a few times to see if the kind of guns that I prefer might be there. So far nothing. For fine guns try the Autumn Gun Works in Goshen and the Armory in New Presto...

Well then if your going to stay apply for a permit. Ask how best to go about it. I have had my permit for a long time.

Nickolai,

Welcome to the forum. Its not imperative that you get a permit to carry or that you carry. To each his own.

I would ask here where there are ranges and clubs near you where you can shoot. Where are you?

The Danbury show was similar this year. I went to the Durham show last year and its the same.

The show in Hartford for antiques was good but narrow. High quality, high prices and little junk.

I am no longer going to waste my time on good months like Oct for shows.

I might go to one in the winter.

If your up Torrington way stop in the Autumn Gun Works in Goshen. They have the finer guns that I prefer such as M70's etc.

They are on Rt 63 between the Goshen rotary on rt4 and Litchfield.

Here are lyrics to the kind of song that I like. "Im gonna love you, like nobodys loved you Come rain or come shine High as a mountain, deep as a river Come rain or come shine I guess when you met me It was just one of those things But dont you ever bet me cause Im gonna be true if you let me&q...

Besides the fact that Jackson could sing in tune and jump around on a stage what other talent did he have? Fred Astaire himself called MJ to rave about his dancing. He is revered by many of the most accomplished musicians and singers in the world. As f***ed up as he was as a person, he created art ...

He was a disgusting person and the so called music he made brought some to a lower level.

It was not normal or natural singing or dancing but an extreme thing that has gone on now in that so called culture whatever it is.

I was pleased when I heard that Jackson was gone. At least he will fade now.

The most knowledgeble and well spoken gun shop that I know of is the Autumn Gun Works in Goshen CT. The hours there are Tue-Sat. They have some very nice guns. Recently I picked up a original Mannlicher Schoenauer full stocked carbine there chambered in .358 Win! http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/7...

No I did not know that. Alaska is so very interesting and I envy those there. All the stuff they get!

That cruise/drive we took in AK was the best vacation.

Here is another picture of the bear at Mendenhall.

Yes, We have been there. In fact I have some pictures. We flew to Vancouver, took a cruise through the coastal islands and it stopped in Juneau where we visited Mendenhall and that area. The cruise went on to Whittier, AK and then we rented a car and toured AK. http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/649...
