Not much point in giving MZ (Facebook) our business anyways.

Not of much help, but I can tell you that Westerly and Putnam Wal-Marts had little to nil in .22 LR. About every other spot on the shelf had the respective ammo.
BTW, RI requires proof of age only, to my knowledge, so all of you that didn't get with Dannel's program can still obtain ammo.

Beats me! I don't think I've ever had a brand new rifle to worry about such subtleties.
Just get out there and shoot it, I'd suggest.

FWIW, NET&SS only has the Hornady 180g FMJ FPs in stock. $49.99 per 250 (20 cents each). There is a source on Armslist that has the Montana Gold 180g JHPs for 17 cents each (per 1000). http://www.armslist.com/posts/5074469/sw-washington-reloading-for-sale--40-10mm--155gr-165gr-180gr-jhp-bullets-...

Was just at Cabelas to pick up some cci small pistol primers and was happy to see 8 boxes in case. As I walked up to buy some they took them out of case and said they could not sell them and were told to take them off shelf by corporate. And dont know why or when they will have them back..... I was...

I think the benefit is more in the bullet-making portion. It eliminates the need for the lubing with conventional bullet lubes. Direct contact with lead is minimized in the reloading portion, too. Coating and baking is a bit less complex than the lubing process and it ends up being a bit cleaner on ...

I've been deleting these posts for the past year or so.
How do these spammers get onto the system in the first place?

So... how's the reloading coming along?

Not a problem.
Grab some 9mm brass while your at it and make the postage worth while. (Read your PM)
Once you feel a bit more comfortable with what you want, look to do group buys with others to save shipping/hazmat on bulk powder and primer orders, too.

Don't over-think every purchase. See what prices are at NET&SS, X-Treme and any other favorite supplier and that will give you an idea what the norm is. Any plated 180 grain bullet for 10 cents is about as low as you'll find. Cast and coated bullets might be a bit cheaper and jacketed will be a ...

Search is your best hope. Use sites such as Grafs, MidwayUSA, Midsouth Shooters Supply, Powder Valley, Gamaliel, NET&SS, etc., to get an idea of retail prices. There are sites for once-fired/used brass, too. Armlist and forums like this can be helpful for items, too. http://hi-techammo.com/colle...

Howdy and welcome.
Feel free to come by, if you want to sit in on some reloading. Roughly fifty-plus calibers and 100 meters outside.

Can't say. Cast bullets generally are sized a thousandth over the nominal jacketed bullet diameters. Unless you slug your barrel, you really don't know what the optimum bullet diameter should be. Take the Mosin Nagant rifles for example. Bore diameters could be anywhere from .308" to .314"...
